Sketching Techniques

The first sketch oblique starts with a straight on view of one of the objects faces. It represents the objects width, and height but depth can be any size and drawn at any angle. You basically just are getting the thought down without thinking about depth. Isometric pictorials are equally measured. They share the same point and represent height, width, and depth. Perspective sketching is basically has one, two, and three point perspectives. One point perspective has one vanishing point, two point perspectives have two vanishing points, and three point perspectives have three vanishing points. Multi view drawings show two or more two- dimensional views of a three dimensional object.
